Cumbia Power Celebrated at SXSW Showcase
The packed performances featured bands representing everywhere from Nicaragua to Mexico.
South by Southwest welcomed the festival’s biggest cumbia showcase at Hotel Vegas and the Volstead featuring artists such as Corpus Christi-based producer El Dusty as well as Austin’s own El Combo Oscuro.
