SouthAmericano Fest 2025 Unites Artists, Community through Música

At the Sahara Lounge this spring, SouthAmericano Fest featured artists such as Chicoselfie, Sultanes del Yonke, Miguel St. Michael, Adriana Rosso and more.

SouthAmericano Fest during South by Southwest brings together music lovers, familias and cultural advocates for a day-long celebration of genre-defying Latin sounds. The festival features both touring and local artists who are all redefining music from Latin pop to indie rock.

Austin musician and festival organizer Frederico Geib unites artists from across South America and beyond to celebrate not just música but community for the sixth annual event at the Sahara Lounge. Austin Vida Contributing Photographer Mari G. Hernandez captured the magic of this community-driven showcase.
