Starring local singer-songwriter David Ramirez, the film brings a local connection to this reflective story about reinvention and creative purpose.

Beast Race (Corrida Dos Bichos)” (March 17): Set in a dystopian Rio de Janeiro, this thriller centers on a brutal race staged for the wealthy elite. When a rebel enters the deadly competition to rescue his sister, survival becomes a fight against both the system and the spectacle.

Los Lobos: Native Sons” (March 15, 16, 18): This documentary chronicles the enduring legacy of East L.A. legends Los Lobos, exploring their rise from neighborhood gigs to international influence. Featuring rare footage and interviews with artists like Linda Ronstadt and Rubén Blades, the film celebrates a band that reshaped American music with a sound rooted in rock, blues and Mexican traditions.
