Pachanga Latino Music Festival celebrates Selena’s birthday with a one-day promotion

Today, Apr. 16 marks the birthday of Selena, the beloved “Queen of Tejano Music”. In her honor, Pachanga Latino Music Festival will donate 50 % of the proceeds from every ticket sold today to two great causes that are helping the next generation of young Latinas – Chicas Rock and Latinitas .

Pachanga is a Latin-themed music, cultural arts and food festival dedicated to showcasing the vibrant blend of Latino-created music and art. The festival will be held on Saturday, May 10 at Fiesta Gardens in Austin, TX. Tickets can be found at http://pachangafest.com/tickets/.

Chicas Rock is an organization that hosts music camps dedicated to building kids’ self-esteem through music creation and performance.

Latinitas is a nonprofit organization focused on informing, entertaining, and inspiring young Latinas to grow into healthy, confident, and successful women.
