Musicians Show Solidarity as SouthAmericano Fest Unites with Austin’s Beitna

Artists representing music from Latin America, Southwest Asia and North Africa united for a community festival during South by Southwest.

Artists from Latin America, Southwest Asia and North Africa came together for Our House: Solidarity Sessions, a cross-cultural showcase hosted by Beitna and SouthAmericano at the Sahara Lounge during South by Southwest.

Photographer Mari G. Hernandez captured the performers, which included Brazilian artist and SouthAmericano founder Frederico7, Hip Hop artist Free Hamze, Austin cumbia outfit Los Desechos and El Paso’s Sultanes del Yonke.
