Saludos! Who’s ready for spring? You know, that magical time of year when it’s amazing to be an Austinite. This winter, we’ve seen the postponement of many local events, but March kicks off spring festival season and brings new opportunities to build community.

  • ?Want to learn or brush up on your Spanish? Free online sessions are coming up led by Freestyle Languages. On March 4, take a virtual trip and practice Spanish via travel-related activities. RSVP here. All levels welcome. On March 8, the online session "A Beginner’s Guide to Speaking Spanish" shares free access to a Spanish Pronunciation Workshop and more. RSVP here.You can be based anywhere to join.
  • ?Are you or someone you know in need of children’s diapers? El Buen Samaritano in South Austin holds a diaper distribution every first and third Thursday of each month from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Details here.
  • ? Refugee Services of Texas is collecting car seats of all sizes for their clients. Drop off new or used car seats (in good condition) Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Call 512-472-9472 when you’re at the RST office so they can let you in.
