Even when the change feels exciting and invigorating (a cool new job or moving to a new city), not knowing the outcome or consequences is uncomfortable. We’re giving some inspiring Central Texas women their flowers and many felicidades for their trailblazing work.

Each year, the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce recognizes extraordinary mujeres during their Women of Distinction Awards, which will be held June 16 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark.
