Soul of the Boot Entertainment (SOBE) is the product of promoter and all around hustler, Scott “Papa Chop” Romero. SOBE specializes on event management, artist development, promotion, publicity, booking and hospitality services. Where SOBE caught our interest was of course their Latin editions of their popular Night Fever concert and DJ showcases, a collaboration with Jeff Strange of StrangeTribe Productions.
The next installment or “volume” of Night Fever will be the Halloween edition on Saturday, October 27, at Hotel Vegas. Austin funk extraordinaires Brownout will be performing an Afro-Latin funk set while DJ Manolo Black of Peligrosa will be spinning opening and closing sets. The best part? We have two tickets to give away to one of our lucky Austin Vida readers.
