Making Movies is a Kansas City-based bilingual Latin Alternative band started by Panamanian native Enrique Chi. Their music fuses together elements of indie rock, reggae and traditional Latin rhythms. No stranger to Austin, the group have performed multiple Austin Vida showcases and is one of those unique bands that can perform with any band of any genre. The band will be returning to Austin once again to perform a headlining show on Wednesday night, May 30, at Frank. Making Movies take the stage at midnight.

Co-headlining on Wednesday night will be Austin-based indie band Politics. The indie quartet is made up of four Latino musicians from El Paso, Texas and most often get comparisons to popular indie bands like Interpol. The band just recently performed at Pachanga Fest for the first time and was featured by KUT radios The Good Music Club. Currently the band is performing in support of their debut release Cities. Politics perform at 11:15 p.m.
